Outreach Work

Evolution School of Dance is now able to offer outreach dance workshops at your school, nursery, community centre, etc. We are mobile and able to tutor in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen and beyond. We are focusing on enhancing movement skills of dance through fun and dynamic teaching methods.

We are able to tailor workshops that can work along with specific themes, curriculum or projects that your organisation is working on.  These can be through one off taster sessions or a block of sessions. It can be designed to suit all students of any age from 2 year olds right through to adults of all abilities.

There are many ways that dance can be included in school / organisation eg:

• As part of the schools golden time / excellence programme
• Health Weeks
• Activity Weeks
• School Projects
• As part of the schools physical education programme

Dance styles for workshops include Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre or Creative style contemporary dance.

The requirements of each group are discussed with the organisor and our tutor to ensure that the schedule of classes meets your particular needs.

Sessions are charged at an hourly rate or a discounted rate for full days.
